Salvia viridis Cottage Rose, also known as Painted Sage or Clary Sage, is a quintessential cottage garden favorite featuring rose colored vertical bracts with neatly spaced, elongated leaves showing distinctive veining that serve as the "petals". The bracts have an ombre color effect, starting at the bottom with blue-green leaves transitioning to the showy tips which turn color when mature.
