Rudbeckia hirta Green Eyes is a flirty wink for your garden beds featuring intense golden-yellow ombre 4" - 5" inch blooms with fresh green center dome-shaped cones. This prolific bloomer kicks off in early summer and pumps out the flowers until it is put to sleep by the first frost in fall. Well formed 36" inch plants spread 18" - 24" inches wide and are the ideal size for middle-of-the-bed flower plantings and stair-stepping heights in landscaped swaths or large color beds. This flowering perennial will naturalize with ease if spent flowers are left to go to seed in the fall. Regular deadheading will increase flower production. An excellent cut flower variety that is heat tolerant and deer resistant. Packet: 50 seeds.
