Rudbeckia hirta Cherokee Sunset is a celebrated All American Selections winner. Prized for its glorious array of semi-double and fully double, 4" to 5" inch blooms in a harvest themed rainbow of golden yellow, rust, orange, bronze, mahogany and mixed bi-color combinations. Stately plants are well mounded and grow to 24" inches making them ideal for container plantings, garden beds and borders. This flowering perennial is also a recipient of the Fleuroselect Quality Award and prized for its exceptional flower quality with plants that pump out the blooms from early summer through the first frost in fall. An excellent cut flower variety for production crops, Cherokee Sunset is often grown as an annual by cut flower growers. Regularly deadhead spent blooms to increase flower production.
