Patio Baby Eggplant is a celebrated 2014 All-American Selection Winner for its early prolific production of egg-shaped 2" to 3" inch baby-sized, traditional glossy purple fruits that are easily grown in patio containers in less than 60 days! This thorn-less dwarf plant develops a well structured 16" to 24" inch bush that does not require staking, showcases beautiful lavender flowers in spring and sustains yields all summer long. This is a "cut & come again" variety which means that as soon as you pick the fruit, the plant will begin to develop another fruit to take its place. Harvest the fruits in tender stage and enjoy their mild, rich flavor in stir fries, as a grilled side dish or baked (never eaten raw). An F1 hybrid, you can expect a high germination rate and this plant is ultra-dependable in any climate, but especially suited for the shorter growing seasons of the Northeast and Midwest. 60 days. Packet: 25 seeds.
