Oregon Sugar Pod II Pea is a snow pea favorite that produces an abundant harvest of delicious, sweet 4" inch long string-less pods that are ideally eaten when the pods are tender and flat before the interior seeds mature. Enjoy these bright green crunchy snacks all season. Compact 26" inch vines typically produce double pod sets that are extremely high yielding and best grown on trellises. Dependably disease resistant to powdery mildew, pea mosaic enation virus, common wilt and leaf roll. Developed at Oregon State University back in the 1980's. A great variety for late season production, Oregon Sugar Pod is an excellent fall crop and in zones 9 to 11 can be grown over winter. Use a succession crop plan for continual sowing to keep your harvest in production throughout the entire season. One of our favorites for taste and texture! 68 days. Packet: .5 oz.
