Malva moschata alba is commonly known as White Musk Mallow. An Award of Garden Merit (A.G.M.) from the Royal Horticultural Society recipient, it is thoughtfully regarded as the most beautiful of all the Mallow species. Ethereal bridal white crepe textured petals surround a soft pink delicate center stamen in a 5 petal star pattern. Strong, stiff stems are littered with fine, fern-like foliage. This rare and coveted garden beauty is a super pollinator attractant, welcoming friends in flight and beneficial insects who feast on the nectar rich open stamens. The flowers emit an intoxicating sweet musk scent and bloom from mid-spring to late fall. Regularly deadheading or stem cutting encourages new blooms to emerge in mass. Most suitable in a sunny location to thrive, White Musk Mallow is drought tolerant once established, suitable for xeriscaping and a carefree garden keeper. Hardy to zone 3. Excellent Cut Flower variety. Packet: 30 seeds
