Honey Nut Butternut Squash is a stellar 5" to 6" inch, individual serving size specialty squash that has a robust thick cello type shape with dark orange skin and deep tangerine colored sweet delectable interior flesh. Fruits have a concentrated center seed set that makes cleaning an easy task. Developed by the Vegetable Breeding Institute at Cornell University, this variety has excellent resistance to powdery mildew. Fruits set on compact vines and start out green and then turn tan to burnt orange when fully ripe for picking. Best planted right after your last frost in order to have ample summer heat to produce abundant yields. An excellent option for small or confined garden spaces, container or planter gardens and can be easily trellised. 110 days. Packet: 20 seeds.
