Gomphrena Fireworks is one of our new favorite finds for 2021. This unique, stand out species of Gomphrena features fantastic, tall, sturdy 36" to 48" inch stems. Topped with exploding 1" to 1.5" inch, hot iridescent pink blooms tipped with bright yellow star shaped stamens, they resemble firecrackers! This unique floral showstopper is an excellent bedding plant for the garden and is equally desired as a cut flower production crop. Plants form full, dense mounded clusters that spread 24" inches, sending up dozens of individual flower stems. They add excellent architectural interest as a specimen planting in garden beds. This low-maintenance variety tolerates heat and is a favorite for friendly garden pollinators. Grown as an annual for cut flower production, this variety will behave as a perennial in warm climate zones. Blooms can be used both fresh and dried as an everlasting flower. Packet: 20 seeds.
