Echinacea purpurea Green Twister, commonly known as Coneflower, is a first year flowering perennial that is often the talk of the garden due to its beautiful and unusual multi-tone coloring! Discovered as a natural mutation of the parent flower, Green Twister produces captivating 3" to 4" inch daisy-shaped flower blossoms. Horizontal petals showcase an ombre effect transitioning from lime-green to light pink, then carmine and punctuated with a burnish-red center cone. Its excellent production quality and long straight stems make this a favorite cut flower variety. Well formed 36" to 40" inch plants pump out the blooms from early summer until fall frost. And similar to many other echinacea plants, Green Twister gets stronger with each season, producing longer and stronger stems and more abundant bloom production. Hardy to zone 3, it’s a carefree keeper. Tolerant to heat, humidity and most soil conditions across all climate zones.
