Echinacea purpurea Bravado, commonly known as Coneflower, is a bright and cheerful garden addition boasting 4" to 5" inch rosy-pink daisy-type blossoms punctuated by golden-mahogany raised cone centers on 30” inch tall plants. Long straight stems are ideal for cutting. This easy to grow flowering perennial is heat, humidity and drought tolerant and thrives in almost any climate. Bravado will freely self seed if expired blossoms are left to overwinter. The spent seed cones are a nutrient dense source of food for small birds and critters in the winter season. Cut them back in late winter and enjoy an encore performance for spring! Blooms from late spring all the way until the first frost of autumn. A solid cut flower production crop. Hardy to zone 3. Packet: 25 seeds.
