Campanula medium Double, commonly known as Bellflower is a rare and coveted beauty strongly associated with the idyllic cottage garden! You will fall in love with the spectacular fluffy, double petaled, bell shaped blossoms this French heirloom biennial favorite produces. The mix includes pink, purple and white flowers on well formed, vertical, 24" to 30" inch plants. Loved by many generations of gardeners and a staple for every cutting garden, this variety is deer and rabbit resistant, hardy in zones 5 to 8, and thrives in garden spots with well drained soil and partial shade to full sun. To keep continual blooms throughout the season, deadhead spent blooms regularly. Once the season is taken by frost, pull the expired plants and vigorously shake the bloom heads, sprinkling the seeds on the ground to bring about a whole new crop for next year. Packet: 100 seeds.
