Aquilegia clematiflora Green Apples Columbine features an exceptional flowering display of fully double, spur-less, saucer shaped blossoms. Creamy white blossoms begin their starry showcase in early summer, as clear green apple opening buds, fading to swoony luminous white as they mature. The flower blooms dance above gray-green foliage with finely divided leaves on plants that average 24" inches. Hardy down to zone 3, this flowering perennial will freely self seed and naturalize into a woodland setting with ease. This variety prefers well drained soil with half day sun exposure or dappled sun all day. Packet: 50 seeds.
