Aquilegia caerulea Kirigami Mix is a colorful rainbow blend of upward facing star shaped Columbine flowers. 16" to 24" inch plants produce some of the earliest blooms of the season in a mix of pink, red, blue, rose, white and yellow. Lovely 2" to 3" inch flower heads have straight stems and excellent vase life. Kirigami is one of the more popular first year flowering perennials and is a favorite Columbine variety for cut flower growers. If spent blooms are left to overwinter, this variety will freely self sow and naturalize. Ideal for borders, container planting and as a showy addition to garden beds where textural ornamental flowers are desired. Winter hardy to zone 4. Packet: 25 seeds.
