Agastache aurantiaca Coronado, commonly called Hummingbird Mint, is renowned for its unique silver-green foliage and bright color saturated vertical spikes of tubular orange-red flower blossoms whorled in mass. Celebrated as a 2009 Plant Select winner, this drought resistant perennial plant is a fabulous pollinator attractant and will be a buffet for hummingbirds, butterflies and bumble bees. Plants grow to 24" inches and feature a very vertical growth habit. Expect blooms from mid-summer through the first frost of fall. Leave standing through winter and cut back to new green foliage in early spring for hardy perennial production. This drought tolerant variety loves heat and thrives in a well drained, sunny garden location. Patio container friendly. Packet: 50 seeds.
