Monarda Lambada Bee Balm is a whimsical perennial flower that looks like it would have come right out of the pages of a Dr. Suess storybook! Purple-lilac whorled blooms with pointed petals stack upward around an inner ring petal node in delicate, pagoda shaped tower spires on top of 30" inch stems adorned with bright green tapered foliage. A unique cut flower that is always in demand, used fresh or dried. Delightful blooms come into flush at the first heat of early summer and bloom all the way until first frost. Notably first year flowering, this variety will self-seed in warmer climates, but should be treated as an annual in colder climate zones. Popular among pollinators, this fancy flower is also edible and makes a charming garnish to top salads and dessert plates alike. Packet: 100 seeds.
