Campanula medium Single Series, commonly known as Bellflower, is a rare and coveted beauty strongly associated with the idyllic cottage garden! Behold these unique, single petaled, bell shaped blossoms of this French heirloom biennial favorite that are an essential of every traditional cutting garden. The mix includes pink, purple and white flowers on well formed, vertical, 24" to 30" inch plants. Loved by many generations of gardeners, Campanula is notably deer and rabbit resistant, hardy in zones 5 to 8, and thrives in garden spots with well drained soil and partial shade to full sun. To keep continual blooms throughout the season, deadhead spent blooms regularly. Once the season is taken by frost, pull the expired plants and vigorously shake the bloom heads, sprinkling the seeds on the ground to bring about a whole new crop for next year.
