Bunny Tails or Hares Tail, scientifically known as Lagurus ovatus, is a delightful, soft fuzzy annual grass species that has a magical shimmering quality! Well mounded, tidy tuffs of green grass blades send up darling, individual, 2" inch fluffy bloom heads. The manicured, easy to grow clumps average 14" to 20" inches and are ideally suited for border plantings, window boxes and patio containers. Bunny Tails create a whimsical, textural point of interest in garden beds, too. We can't get enough of this charming little ornamental plant! A true favorite for kids (and those young at heart) who love to pick them and play with the silky soft bloom heads- because they are simply irresistible to touch! The plume heads are popular among floral creatives and are used fresh or dried. Unlike other dried grass varieties, Bunny Tails, when dried naturally, are superior for everlasting arrangements due to their shatter-proof nature. This sun loving plant is quite drought tolerant once it gets its roots established and grows in almost any soil type when well drained. Packet: 50 seeds.
