Artwork Broccoli, also known as Sweet Stem Broccoli is a 2015 All-American Selections winner appreciated for its prolific production, bolt and heat resistant habit and disease resistance. Growing 24" to 28" inches tall, this space saving variety is ideal for compact growing spaces without compromising on production yields, making Artwork ideal for home gardeners and market fresh producers alike! A culinary favorite, loved for its rich dark green color, tender floret crowns and delicious flavor when harvested in baby form, Artwork is a treat prepared steamed, stir fried, sauteed or fresh in salads or as a tasty veggie snack with dip. Expect an initial harvest from the center crown followed by multiple 6" to 8" inch side shoots. The key to ultimate production is to harvest the center crown as soon as possible or, in the case of fresh market growers, pinch the center crown once it appears to bring on side shoot production sooner. 85 days from seed / 60 days from transplant. Packet: 75 seeds.
